Mr. Ishrak Khair was born Dhaka, Bangladesh and moved shortly thereafter to Riyadh, Saudi Arabia where he went to Bangladesh International School where he graduated and completed his IGCSE and A-level board exams in 2004. He then moved to Worcester Massachusetts to earn his Bachelors in Electrical and Computer Engineer from Worcester Polytechnic Institute in 2010. He went on to complete his Masters in Electrical and Computer Engineering with a focus in RF Engineering and Antenna Design from Worcester Polytechnic Institute in 2011. He started working at MathWorks in 2011 as an Application Support Engineer for 9 months before transitioning his role to Software Developer in the MathWorks Test and Measurement product space. He now works as a Senior Software Developer in the MATLAB Hardware Infrastructure area at MathWorks. Aside from his professional interests, Mr. Khair is passionate about studying the Natural Sciences to highlight the divinity of the Qur’an. Mr. Khair also enjoys playing soccer in his free time and is frequently involved with his local Masjid Community at the Worcester Islamic Center. Mr. Khair currently lives in Marlborough, Massachusetts with his wife and daughter.
