Mr. Wahidul Islam completed his undergraduate degree in Mechanical Engineering from Bangladesh University of Engineering & Technology (BUET) in 1995 and then he served the same department as a Lecturer for couple of years. He came to USA for MS in Mechanical Engineering in 1997 and completed the degree from University of South Carolina in 2000. He also completed MBA from University of Illinois in 2015. He worked in the Automotive Industry for 3 years and Caterpillar Inc for another 13 years. He is currently working as an Engineering Manager in Whirlpool Corporation. His specialty is in product and process development to support entire engineering value chain from voice of customer to all the way to product launch. He has been involved in different activities to support local communities in various capacity. He lives in Granger, IN with wife and a daughter.
